What began as a simple collection of our wildflower photos has quickly become something of its own little art project.

Chaparral Journal documents the amazing (if sometimes unnoticed) biodiversity in our chaparral habitat where we live and work. It's a landscape that influences and informs our art and expands our love of nature.

All the photos are ours — fleeting blooms, untamed wildlife and golden sunlight, taken year-round and in all seasons.
